Under the baton of Music Director Ankush Kumar Bahl, the concert opens with the mesmerizing "Moriviví" by Angélica Negrón. Premiered in 2022 by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, this orchestral feature traces the evolution of a shy succulent native to Puerto Rico, showcasing Negrón's innovative and evocative composition style.

The concert continues with the renowned pianist Joyce Yang taking the stage to perform Edvard Grieg's glorious Piano Concerto. Yang's vivid and beautiful playing, praised by the New York Times, promises to breathe new life into this beloved masterpiece.
