==Annapolis Chamber Players== The '''Annapolis Chamber Players''' (ACP) is a musical ensemble founded in 2004, consisting of professional musicians from the Baltimore-Washington, DC-Annapolis area. The ensemble is known for its performances of chamber music, ranging from duos to octets and covering a repertoire that spans from Baroque to 21st-century compositions. ===History=== The ACP was established with the aim of bringing classical favorites and lesser-known chamber music pieces to life, showcasing the talents of its members who are also affiliated with prestigious local ensembles such as the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, U.S. Naval Academy Band, Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, Great Noise Ensemble, and Trio Simpatico. ===Performances and Education=== The Players have a reputation for their professional yet relaxed style, which has been well received at various locations and venues. Beyond performance, the Annapolis Chamber Players are deeply committed to music education. Many of the members hold advanced music degrees and actively engage in educational activities, sharing their passion and knowledge with students of all ages. In 2015, the ACP initiated the Annapolis Chamber Music Project, a weeklong festival that includes Master Classes, performance classes, lessons, small ensemble coaching sessions, and recitals. Due to its success and popular demand, the Project was scheduled to return in 2019. ===Support and Recognition=== The Annapolis Chamber Players are a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization that relies on contributions from patrons, friends, and organizations such as the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County. Donations to the ACP support their ongoing efforts to promote an appreciation of chamber music through performances and educational initiatives. The group's motto "PerformEducateCollaborateInspire" encapsulates their mission to not only perform music at the highest level but also to educate the next generation of musicians, collaborate with fellow artists, and inspire a love for chamber music within the community.
