Families will participate in music-themed activities and have access to professional musicians who can answer questions and give a deeper insight into the arts. This Family Night will feature musicians from the November 11 CMA performance Celebrating Our Veterans.

Former Commander and Conductor of the United States Air Force’s bands and Amarillo Symphony’s Executive Director Larry Lang will lead the Amarillo Virtuosi in a wind performance of Strauss and Dvořák at the impressive AmTech Career Academy.

Experience the magic of "The Firebird" at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, a captivating event presented by the Amarillo Symphony. This enchanting evening will take place on April 25 and 26, 2025, with performances starting at 7:30 PM on both Friday and Saturday. 

Dive into a night of extraordinary music featuring the world-renowned pianist Marc-André Hamelin, celebrated for his near-superhuman technical prowess as per the New York Times. Under the baton of conductor George Jackson, the evening promises an unforgettable auditory journey. The program includes a premiere composition from the WT, Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4, Grace-Evangeline Mason's "The Imagined Forest," and culminates with Stravinsky's thrilling "The Firebird Suite."

This event is a perfect blend of virtuosic piano performance and orchestral storytelling, set in the acoustically splendid Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts, located at 500 S Buchanan St, Amarillo, TX 79101, United States.
