He’s known as El Caballero de la Salsa (The Gentleman of Salsa). Gilberto Santa Rosa does music with incredible style and passion. The impeccable bandleader has been making hits since 1986, and almost four decades later, he continues to spread his high-energy performances across the world. During the ‘80s, Santa Rosa released numerous iconic hits, including “De Amor y Salsa,” “Good Vibrations,” “Vivir sin ella,” and “Perspective.” His stark reputation earned him to be the first sals performer to ever perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall Theater in New York City. By 1990, Santa Rosa earned his first Billboard Award. Throughout the rest of the ‘90s, his fame has spread across the world, even reaching as far as Japan.

Deborah Case Dance: Cinderella - Carnival Of Animals

Broncos Dieras is the brainchild of 50-year-old comedian Roberto Carlo. An enthusiastic performer from the start, his origins include crashing into parties in his home state Nuevo Leon. Carlo has this incredible talent for lighting up any room he walks in. After experimenting with various hilarious characters, including “Tongorito,” he ended up with his signature act, Brincos Dieras. He made a breakthrough with the character after an improv at a church where “Tongorito” put on a funny hat and colored his face with clown makeup. Hence, Brincos Dieras en la Dia Y Ganas tienes en la noche was born! In an interview, Carlo explained that the move was unintentional, "By mistake, I became a clown, and the key is that I would have fun anywhere, and from there, I continue doing what I love the most."

The Mexico-born Esparza has also delved into comedy in Spanish. There may not be a city as bilingual and multicultural as McAllen.
