After choosing from a selection of works by Vivaldi, Dvořák and Ana Sokolović, you will find yourself on the podium of the Maison symphonique in front of a string orchestra of OSM musicians. Under the direction of Jean-Marie Zeitouni, the OSM welcomes Patrick Norman to the stage for one final lap to round off 55 years of an outstanding career.

The emotional centre or life-powering organ, numerous compositions have been inspired by the heart. In Another Little Piece of My Heart, Montgomery evokes passion and palpitations, while Murphy’s Strum is punctuated by a steady pulse of pizzicato notes similar to a heartbeat, and Glass’ celebrated “Mishima” Quartet is carried along by an uninterrupted stream of subtle emotions.
