Crash Test Dummies

The Crash Test Dummies are not a traditional artistic organization like an orchestra or theatre company; rather, they are a Canadian rock band known for their distinct folk rock sound. Formed in Winnipeg in 1988, the band is best known for their 1993 hit single "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm," which garnered international acclaim. The band, featuring lead vocalist Brad Roberts, is noted for their unique lyrical content and Roberts' baritone voice. The album "God Shuffled His Feet," which features the aforementioned single, was critically acclaimed and earned multiple nominations, including three Grammy nominations. Although primarily inactive in terms of new releases in recent years, the Crash Test Dummies continue to tour occasionally and retain a dedicated fanbase. Their music and distinctive sound have had a lasting impact on the alternative rock scene of the 1990s.
