**Opera in the Park 2024**

Join us for a magical evening under the stars at Garner Park on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 8pm, as Madison Opera presents the much-anticipated annual event, Opera in the Park. This free, open-air concert has become a staple of the Madison community, celebrating over two decades of bringing opera and musical theater to the public in a stunning outdoor setting. In case of rain, the event will be held on the following day, Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the same time.

This year's lineup features an impressive array of talent, including soprano Katerina Burton, mezzo-soprano Emily Fons, tenor Joshua Sanders, and baritone Weston Hurt, all under the baton of the esteemed conductor John DeMain. Together with the Madison Opera Chorus and the Madison Symphony Orchestra, these artists will perform a selection of arias and ensembles from a broad spectrum of opera and Broadway, including highlights from Madison Opera’s upcoming season, famous operas, and more.

Opera in the Park is not just a concert; it's a community gathering that celebrates the power of music to connect us all. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or tarps to claim their spot from 7am on the day of the concert, pack a picnic or enjoy the available concessions, and immerse themselves in the beauty of opera under the night sky. For those with accessibility needs, parking and transportation options are available to ensure everyone can enjoy the event.
