Reagle Music Theatre

Founded in 1969, Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston emerged from a group of Waltham High School students and alumni's desire to utilize an empty school theater during the summer. Under the guidance of Robert J. Eagle and with support from local authorities, their first production, "Carousel," marked the beginning of what would become a prestigious institution in the region. Renamed in 2010, Reagle Music Theatre has maintained a close relationship with Waltham High School, contributing significantly to its Fine Arts Wing and establishing a unique partnership between professional theatre and public education. Dedicated to presenting high-quality musical theatre productions, Reagle combines the talents of regional and professional performers and technicians, offering audiences exceptional theatrical experiences. The theatre has a history of employing Broadway choreography, large orchestras, and owning costumes and sets from Broadway and touring productions. Since hiring its first professional actor in 1984, Reagle has featured performances by world-class artists and has been a member of the National Alliance for Musical Theatre since 1991. Reagle's commitment to excellence is evidenced by its numerous awards, including six Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Awards for Best Musical and special citations from the Boston Theatre Critics Association. Beyond productions, Reagle enriches the community with original musical revues, a concert series featuring renowned performers, and educational programs aimed at nurturing the next generation of theatre practitioners and enthusiasts.
