Join us for an extraordinary evening of music with the Tucson Repertory Orchestra, featuring the talented Faculty Artist Fanya Lin on piano. This special performance is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Crowder Hall. Under the skilled direction of Music Director and Conductor Toru Tagawa, and with the assistance of Dr. Yudai Ueda as Assistant Conductor, the orchestra will present an electrifying program that includes Grieg’s Piano Concerto and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5.

Dr. Fanya Lin, an Associate Professor of Practice in Piano at the University of Arizona, will captivate the audience with her mesmerizing performance of Grieg’s Piano Concerto, a piece she will also showcase during the TRO’s Japan Tour 2024 in Hiroshima. Known for her charismatic and gripping performances, Lin has received acclaim from Musical America and The New York Times, and has performed with numerous prestigious orchestras around the world.
