The ECU School of Music, nestled within the College of Fine Arts and Communication, stands out as a leading institution in the Southeast for music education. With an enrollment of around 250 undergraduate and 70 graduate students, it offers a range of programs including Bachelor of Music (BM), Master of Music (MM), certificate programs, and a music minor. The school is renowned for its predominantly online MM in Music Education degree, which has received accolades from the National Association of Schools of Music. Housed in the A.J. Fletcher Music Center, the school boasts extensive facilities, including two large rehearsal halls, a 220-seat recital hall, electronic piano labs, five organs, over fifty practice rooms, faculty studios, a comprehensive music library, and the advanced Center for Music Technology.
