Chamber Music Marin

Chamber Music Marin, established in 1973, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of chamber music. Operated entirely by volunteers, this allows the majority of funds from subscriptions and donations to be allocated directly to its musical programs. With a commitment to affordability, the organization maintains modest concert fees, supplemented by the generosity of donors and subscribers. Each year, Chamber Music Marin presents an annual concert series featuring five performances by internationally acclaimed artists at the Mount Tamalpais United Methodist Church in Mill Valley, known for its excellent acoustics and free parking. In addition to its concert series, Chamber Music Marin is deeply invested in community outreach, offering classical music workshops and performances in Marin County schools. This initiative aims to expose young audiences to chamber music, receiving positive feedback from both students and teachers. Furthermore, subscribers are offered free tickets to the Young Performers Concert of the Marin Music Chest, a partner organization, encouraging the support and enjoyment of young musical talent. Chamber Music Marin's efforts are supported by a dedicated board of directors and are celebrated for contributing significantly to the cultural landscape of Marin County.
