Camila Cortina Bello is a pianist, educator, musicologist and composer. Born in Havana, Cuba in 1988, she has taken the stage in her home country and has performed for audiences around the world. Her music intends to re-imagine the sounds and rhythms of her original Cuban roots through the lens of jazz, classical and world music. She feels like fusion and cross-overs are as intrinsic to her work as to her “mulato” DNA. The memories she carries from her home country play a very important role on her artistic identity, but also the realities that has surrounded her while living away.

At 8 years old, she fell in love with singing when she met her voice teacher, Veronika Yanovskaya, who introduced Angelina to jazz music and sparked the fascination with Ella Fitzgerald’s improvisation and Ray Charles’s soulful singing. While receiving her primary education, Angelina participated in international vocal competitions and festivals in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), attending masterclasses and meeting like-minded musicians. In addition to jazz music, Angelina also became inspired by soul artists like Stevie Wonder and Jill Scott, and she released her first single, Off the Road when she was 17.

Los Cintron features two talented brothers are natives of Spain, residing in NYC. They showed promise at an early age and were encouraged to sing by their mother, Maria Teresa Laguna Santos. Rafael began singing his first harmony at the age of 8, Cristobal started at age 5, singing songs of Joselito. Rafael was highly influenced and studied guitar with musical greats such as Maestro Sabicas and Maestro Mario Escudero.

Lívio Almeida is a saxophone player and composer from Brazil, winner of the International Saxophone Competition Victor Assis Brasil in 2015. Mr. Almeida appeared in many important Jazz festivals such as Newport Jazz Festival, Los Angeles Central Ave Jazz Fest, NYC winter Fest and NYC Carefusion Jazz Fest, and prominent venues like Carnegie Hall, Birdland, The Iridium, Dizzy’s Coca-Cola Club, The Jazz Gallery, Cornelia Street Cafe, Joe’s Pub, Zinc Bar, SOB’s, BAM Cafe and Symphony Space, besides touring around US. and abroad. 20 year-old trumpet star Ace Williams, influenced by the vast lineage of the African American and Japanese traditions, aims to bring the values and feelings of peace to his audience. Born in New York City, he began playing trumpet at the age of eight under the tutelage of his father, Willie Williams. He has studied with musicians such as: Mark Gross,Valery Ponomarev, Tatum Greenblatt and the late Joe Shepley among many others.

In 1999 she revived a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music and studied Jazz piano, Improvisation and Composition. She was a semi-finalist at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival Solo Piano Competition in Montreux, Switzerland both in 2002 and 2003. In the U.S. he has performed and/or recorded with Wynton Marsalis, Benny Golson, Randy Weston, Harold Mabern, Idris Muhammad, Jerry Gonzalez, Paquito D’Rivera, Israel “Cachao” López, Sheila E., Eddie Palmieri and many other Jazz and Latin Jazz legends. Peter has appeared on over 200 albums including his own as co-leader with Steve Johns (which also feature contributions by Conrad Herwig, George Cables and Ben Monder) and with the quartet Native Soul. A native of the Bronx, he twice received the BRIO (Bronx Recognizes its Own) award for music composition from Bronx Council on the Arts.

Born Miriam Sullivan in New York City on March 25, 1972, and was raised in the Bronx. Jones studied Music at the Manhattan School of Music Conservatory, and has also studied with Linda McKnight, Lisle Atkinson, Barry Harris, Milt Hinton, Dr. Billy Taylor, Yusef Lateef. She has toured extensively for over 30 years throughout the seven continents, and has played with such people as Frank Ocean, Kenny Barron, DD Bridgewater, Dianne Reeves, Tia Fuller, Roy Hargrove, Terri Lyne Carrington, Beyonce, Jason Moran, Common, Black Thought and more. Mimi Jones co-directs a multimedia interdisciplinary production with pianist ArcoIris Sandoval entitled The D.O.M.E. Experience, creating choreography, musical and visual works inspired by social injustices and environmental changes in our world. Voted #1 & #2 rising star by the DownBeat polls for 3 consecutive years, she currently works on a new project called The Black Madonna. The Berklee School of Music professor recently began collaborating with a trio called Nite Bjuti featuring Vocalist Candice Hoyes, and Sound Chemist Val Jeanty. Guitarist Adam Moezinia is a native of Los Angeles, where he studied at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) under the mentorship of Jason Goldman, Walter Smith III, and Kenny Dennis. Within his first year at LACHSA, Adam was selected as a representative for the Thelonius Monk Institute’s nationwide peer-to-peer tours. There he performed and co-taught on four tours with established jazz musicians: Bobby Watson, Antonio Hart, and Lisa Henry. In 2008, he performed at the former Kodak Theatre (now Dolby Theatre) for the Thelonius Monk Saxophone Competition w/ the “Thelonious Monk High School All-Star Jazz Septet” featuring Antonio Hart. In 2010, he moved to New York City to study at The Juilliard School under a full tuition scholarship. Since then, he’s worked with many greats such as Freddy Cole, Mike LeDonne, Cecile Mclorin Salvant, George Coleman and Kenny Washington at venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, Birdland, Smoke, Scullers and Bird’s Basement. Adam has also been performing regularly with his band the “Folk Element” trio since 2017. The trio is rooted in the jazz tradition but is influenced by folk music from all over the world including West Africa, South Africa, the Caribbean, the UK and Appalachia. As of April 2021, they officially released their debut album “Folk Element Trio” available in the “store” section! Moving forward, they will continue to explore the unique relationship between jazz and folk music, sharing those discoveries with audiences across the globe.

New York-based pianist, composer, arranger and educator, Caili O’Doherty (pronounced “KAY-lee” “oh-DOE-er-tee”), is known for integrating structures of language in both her compositions and her approach to improvisation. Her recent music focuses on the celebration, preservation, and expansion upon the achievements of jazz’s unsung women heroes.

Kaushik Viswanath is a jazz vocalist based in New York City. He was trained in Carnatic classical music, was the lead singer of the Chennai-based rock band Pakoda, and was a vocalist with the University of Notre Dame jazz band in 2013-14.

Cameron Campbell (a.k.a. "mellotones") is a 20 year old pianist, composer and producer from Worcester MA. His primary focus is Black American Music and music of the African Diaspora, as well as avant-garde and electronic music. Although Cameron began playing the piano at the age of 2, his musical career truly began around age 9, as he and his siblings performed American songbook standards at nursing homes around Central MA. Throughout middle and high school Cameron performed with the Assumption University Jazz Ensemble and attended many summer jazz camps where he got the opportunity to learn from and work with legendary musicians such as Jimmy Cobb, Sheila Jordan, Christian Sands, Javon Jackson, David Williams, and Luis Perdomo. In 2016, Cameron began studying with well known Central MA pianist Dick Odgren (Emil Haddad, Mike Metheny, Ictus) until the summer of 2018, when he began studying with esteemed pianist Christian Sands to further develop his craft and sound. Cameron has performed with the Assumption University Jazz Ensemble, Arlington Youth Jazz Ensemble, Isosceles Groove, MA Central Districts Big Band, MA All State Big Band and the All National Big Band.

Amy Azzara is a twenty-three-year-old vocalist born in Simsbury, CT and raised in Rochester, NY. Immersed in music from day one of her life, Amy learned songs by ear and found herself surrounded by musicians. For her, music and life have always been inseparable.

Holly grew up in East Tennessee and began playing the piano very early, always watching her parents play and wanting to copy what she heard. She was three years old or so when she picked out her first tune by ear on the piano. Loathe to take lessons, she mainly taught herself by learning music by ear and arranging it however she liked on the piano until college, when she met Donald Brown at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Brown recognized Holly's inclination for the jazz idiom and immediately took her under his wing, which quickly resulted in Holly's firm decision to pursue a professional career as a jazz pianist. During her time at UT Knoxville, Holly also studied classical piano under the direction of world-renowned pianist and Sandra G. Powell Endowed Professor of Piano Dr. Chih-Long Hu, as well as music composition under the direction of award-winning new music composer Dr. Andrew Sigler.

Dominick “Domo” Branch is a bi-coastal drummer, composer, and educator from Portland, Oregon. Along with leading his own band, Branchin’ Out, he is also the co-leader of the Brown Branch Jazz Orchestra with pianist/keyboardist Charlie Brown III and the co-owner of the Sound Poets Productions with his partner Matt Malanowski. Since finishing his degree at New York’s Manhattan School of Music, Branch has established himself as one of the up and coming faces in the international music scene, performing and touring with artists such as Sean Jones, Stefon Harris, Ron Artis II, Dianne Reeves, Mike Phillips, Terance Blanchard, Taylor Eigsti, Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. He has played at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, the Monterey Jazz Festival, Marciac Jazz Festival, Caramoor Jazz Festival, Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Jazz Standard. Branch aims to use his musical journey as a vehicle of inspiration for young people, and has given motivational speeches at various universities, high schools and music festivals.

In early 2019, the married collaborators — who had performed together for two decades — recorded Return to Shore. A captivating set of duo recordings, the album showcased Baker’s fluid, radiant voice and Juris’s supple guitar mastery in an intimate, unadorned setting.
