Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra

The Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra (MVCO), established in 2000, is in its twenty-fourth season serving the Bismarck-Mandan area. It features a 19-24 piece chamber orchestra and smaller ensembles. The MVCO has collaborated with a diverse array of local arts organizations, including the Frog Holler String Band, Inspiraré vocal ensemble, and the Bismarck Mandan Symphony Youth Orchestra. It has also partnered with educational institutions like Bismarck State College and the University of Mary. The Orchestra is known for its community engagement, providing free tickets to children and underserved audiences, and performing at various venues such as Bismarck State College and local churches. The MVCO contributes to the local economy by offering paid performance opportunities and supporting cultural events. It is partially funded by a grant from BNC National Bank.
