Valley Youth Philharmonic Orchestra

The Valley Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, established in 2009, is a non-profit organization based in the San Fernando Valley, dedicated to performing a full range of classical music. The orchestra comprises local community members and provides individual attention and guidance from highly experienced instructors. Rehearsals are held every Sunday from 6:00-7:00 PM at In-Christ Community Church in Porter Ranch, with annual concerts in Winter and Spring. High school students in the orchestra are eligible for the President’s Volunteer Service Award, offering community service credit. The organization was founded by Jahyeong Jackie Koo, a distinguished pianist with extensive performance and teaching experience globally.
