London Coliseum will host the highly awaited premiere of “Lazgi,” a ballet performance like no other, on September 14.

Crafted by the renowned German choreographer Raoul Raimondo Rebeck, this extraordinary production pays homage to the ancient folk dance Lazgi, recently inscribed by UNESCO as a significant part of humanity’s intangible cultural heritage.

Whether with his rich solo catalogue or during his time with the iconic Soft Cell, Marc Almond has always possessed a gift for introducing songs – some lesser known, others a little forgotten by time – to new audiences. This is something he continues with the release of his brand-new album ‘I’m Not Anyone’. He will follow the album’s release with a major UK headline tour in September, which includes a London date at the Coliseum. In the spirit of the new album, the concert tour will consist only of cover songs.

Based at the stunning Opera and Ballet State Theatre in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, this company of “versatile and accomplished” dancers (The New York Times) has soared under the bold artistic direction of world-renowned, Georgian-born Nina Ananiashvili, former prima ballerina with Bolshoi Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. Ananiashvili, considered one of the all-time greats, returned home to her native country in 2004 to lead the company. The company’s last visit to the UK was in 2008 where they performed at the Edinburgh International Festival

Featuring dynamic virtuosity and visual spectacle, the entire auditorium will be transformed into a sumptuous and stunning, ever evolving work of art combining music, words, poetry, visuals and video installations.

Kirill Richter & Richter Trio: Sands of Time

In her new concert, Patti LuPone: A Life in Notes, the three-time Tony Award winner performs an array of songs which do just that—songs that are touchstones and reflections on her life growing up in America—from a young girl during the burgeoning rock and roll scene of the fifties, to coming of age in the politically and socially turbulent sixties, to eventually achieving success with both career and family.
