Nederlander Theatres, part of The Nederlander Organization, has been a prominent name in entertainment since 1912. The legacy began when David T. Nederlander acquired a 99-year lease on the Detroit Opera House. In 1964, his son James M. Nederlander expanded the family business by purchasing the Palace Theatre on Broadway, establishing one of the largest privately held live entertainment companies globally. Currently led by James L. Nederlander, the organization manages nine theatres on Broadway and 17 more across North America. In London, Nederlander Theatres operates the Aldwych Theatre, Dominion Theatre, and the Adelphi Theatre (in partnership with LW Theatres), hosting acclaimed productions like "TINA - The Tina Turner Musical," "The King and I," and "Back to the Future: The Musical." The Nederlander Organization continues to produce and present top-tier theatrical and concert events while innovating to engage future generations of theatregoers.
