BroadStage

BroadStage, situated at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center, is a leading contemporary performing arts presenter in Los Angeles. Established in 2008, BroadStage aims to energize audiences through bold performances and personal connections. It operates three distinct venues: the Mainstage, a 500-seat theater known for its grand acoustics and intimate setting; The Edye, a 100-seat black box theater promoting emerging artists and innovative work; and the versatile East Wing, which serves as both an indoor and outdoor performance space. Approaching its 15th anniversary in 2023, BroadStage, under the leadership of Artistic & Executive Director Rob Bailis, is expanding its artistic vision to meet the evolving needs of artists, audiences, and the community. The organization emphasizes accessibility and celebrates shared humanity through the arts. BroadStage also honors the Indigenous caretakers of the land on which it stands, recognizing the Tongva, Gabrielino, and Kizh peoples.
