The Marcus Performing Arts Center (MPAC), located in downtown Milwaukee, is a mission-based non-profit organization dedicated to bringing high-quality arts and cultural programming to Southeastern Wisconsin. Established over 50 years ago, MPAC serves more than 200,000 people annually with a diverse range of performances, including Tony Award-winning Broadway shows, music, dance, and theater events from local and international artists. It also hosts community events, educational experiences, and private events such as weddings and meetings. MPAC is home to four major resident companies: Black Arts MKE, First Stage, The Florentine Opera, and Milwaukee Ballet. Designed by renowned modernist architect Harry Weese, MPAC is part of the Milwaukee Theatre District and serves as a War Memorial facility. The organization is committed to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion, partnering with community figures like Donald Driver to enhance its cultural impact. MPAC's mission is to connect the community through collaboration, innovation, and the transformative power of live performing arts.
