Mozart's masterful clarinet concerto is central to this concert and is flanked by music by two composers for whom Mozart was perhaps the greatest role model – Schubert and Carl Nielsen.

Give yourself a meditative break after work in the beautiful old town hall on Stændertorvet.
DUEN plays for you for approx. 20-30 minutes, where you don't have to do anything other than let the music transport you away from the hustle and bustle of the day. The music is specially selected to create a meditative space for calm and contemplation in a busy world and give you a "brain break" by creating a space where there is room to stand still.
KLANGRUM is free and does not require a ticket or registration.
Everyone is welcome to come by and enjoy 30 minutes in a musical space where it's okay to stand completely still and breathe deeply.
You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat to lie on.

Time calls for reflection and for each of us to find time and space where we can feel and listen to ourselves. KLANGRUM is DUEN's take on how classical music can create that space when it is played with a special awareness and approach.
KLANGRUM is a performance-free space for musicians as well as listeners, where presence and authenticity are central. The framework and the introduction to the music suggest equality between musicians and audience, and the aim is to create an informal and relaxed atmosphere that invites presence and inward searching.

DUEN plays a summer concert in the Garrison Church in Copenhagen on Friday 9 August at 19.30. On the program is riveting music for string orchestra by, among others, Bartok, Janacek, Nielsen and Grieg. Music characterized by folk tones – from Romania to the Norwegian mountains.

DUEN has been invited to Berlin to play with the German opera company NOVOFLOT. We have previously performed "Die Oper #2" with them at the Copenhagen Opera Festival 2021 and at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin in 2022. Based on the good collaboration, they have now invited us to Berlin to play the same opera in Kühlhaus Berlin.

DUEN is looking forward to once again participating in the Classic Days festival - this year with the theme "Humour, play and laughter". As usual, we play two different concert programs at the festival. You can only experience the program for this concert once.

Carefree was Frederick the Great's castle in Potsdam, to which he could privately retreat - away from the power and splendor of the court in Berlin. Sanssouci is French and means carefree; in the language of the time: Carefree castle. One evening the old master JS Bach came to visit. Also, don't miss the Danish premiere of the brilliant, exuberant and life-affirming triple concerto by this year's festival composer, Olli Mustonen.

DUEN is looking forward to once again participating in the Classic Days festival - this year with the theme "Humour, play and laughter". As usual, we play two different concert programs at the festival. You can also experience the program for this concert at concerts on 29 and 30 September.

At the concert you can hear, among other things, Mozart's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" and Dvorák's well-known "Humoreske". The Dutch/British violinist Daniel Rowland is soloist in both Felix Mendelssohn's early violin concerto in D minor, Alexander Raskatov's beautiful "Five minutes of WA Mozart's life" for violin and string orchestra and the world's most played piece of music, "Tango Jalousi".

Welcome to an incipient concert in the borderland between the classical and the folk with oboist Henrik Goldschmidt as soloist. The concert is the second of two on DUEN's first summer project. Before the concert, DUEN holds rehearsals in the Garrison church and plays for the opening concert at the Schubertiaden in Roskilde. We are looking forward to once again returning to the Garrison church, which has become DUEN's permanent rehearsal and concert location in Copenhagen.

Bjarke Mogensen has been a dear friend and business partner for DUEN for many years. At this concert he is the soloist in Ihor Shamo's accordion concerto (composed in 1981). In addition, you can experience DUEN playing Tchaikovsky's beautiful and lively Serenade for strings as well as a few smaller works for string orchestra.

The concert is the second of two on DUEN's first summer project. Before the concert, DUEN has a rehearsal stay at Engelsholm High School, where we also play the first concert. We are looking forward to once again returning to the Garrison church, which has become DUEN's permanent rehearsal and concert location in Copenhagen.

In January, DUEN played at a book concert with music by Benjamin Koppel for the album "Annas Dollhouse", where Benjamin Koppel spoke about the book "Annas Sang". The concert was such a great success that it is now being repeated twice. Sofie Gråbøl reads from the novel, and Benjamin himself talks about the background to the book.

Benjamin Koppel's debut novel Annas Sang has taken reviewers and readers by storm. The family chronicle is based on the almost 100-year life of Benjamin's great-aunt Anna. It has touched people all over the country and has made the book one of the best selling books this summer. The book is largely based on his aunt Anna's difficult and dramatic life, which she managed to tell Benjamin about through a series of conversations in her last years. Anna's story is a riveting tale of duty, social control, loneliness, persecution and war, but also of art, indomitable courage and the all-conquering love.

After the Schubert Society's general meeting, a joint meal and concert will be held, both for members and non-members. A small team of DUEN's musicians participate in this concert with accordionist Bjarke Mogensen, guitarist Allan Sjølin and violinist and ensemble leader Morten Ryelund as soloists.
