I've had a bit of a writer's block for a while.. so I took this opportunity to go a bit bananas and try out new stuff.

I went to Greenland and wrote songs while traveling off-grid on a dog sledge together with other three musicians - it was liberating.
Then I took the train to Aarhus and co-wrote with Kasper Staub and Nanna Schannong in a studio - opened up for new sounds.

For my graduation concert I will play songs from my upcoming release, Seinferð. Seinferð means slow motion in Faroese, and the songs were written together with Teitur in snowy weather in Tórshavn, as a rebellion against the speed that prevails today. An inner rebellion against believing that you have to run as fast as others, when it doesn't feel right for you.

Zeki Jindyl will  premiere his work 'STRETCH//RELATIONS' - a 40 minute genre-bending piece where different musical expressions meet, clash and interact. The piece is written as an exploration of a common denominator between Zekis biggest inspirations in music. You can expect haunting melodies that sound like a  distant memory of your favorite chorus, a brutal wall of guitars, a granular choir lullaby, sporadic and melodic improvisation, intense textural soundscapes and beautifully intertwined rhythms.

She will be performing songs that find space in the contrasts and dynamics between intimacy and longing, closeness and intensity, hints of clarity and waves of ambiguity.

A 6 meter high speaker pendulum, a modular synthesizer and a pedal steel guitar are the basic elements of this solo concert by Uffe Nørtoft.

The work 'Hypnosis' tells stories about ordinary life: about being overwhelmed and hypnotized by everyday life and normality, about discovering the magic and poetry that supposedly hides there, and about the struggles it can lead to on the way!

A performance collaboration of theatre, rap and high intense energy. Hiding behind a mask is actually a safespace to show your true face. This show will be a portrait of my different masks, and I will explore the ugliest, most vulnerable versions of myself. I have brought together a group of 6 other rappers/singers who I have been instructing musically as well as theatrical.

In her bachelor's project, Viola Faber has worked on weaving together the boundaries between the first idea and the finished song. She has tried to notice her surroundings and her own working mode. Where does the inspiration to write a song start? Is it in front of the piano? Or in the light on the wall? She has collaborated with her friends, gone on writing trips and made music that feels loving and caring.

Drummer & composer Lasse Jacobsen is primarily known for his work with contemporary piano trio, Little North and synth-pop band, Yör. At the final concert he will present a completely new project exploring improvisation and sampling with multi-instrumentalists Jēkabs Rēders and Torstein Slåen.

The Copenhagen based Syringe lead by Arsene and Lasse B. Beck has evolved into massive aesthetic exploration, presenting research and deep diving on how to develop on the music standards.

The music for this production has been performed collectively and collaboratively, lyrics get manifested into space written by Arsene.

Signe Visby Nørregård works under the stage name Ly. Ly makes introverted, electronic singer/songwriter centered on vocal presence. She works intuitively with the computer as an instrument, and actively emphasizes all the sounds that are normally considered errors and therefore hidden away, such as breathing, computer glitches, or noise from the piano pedal. Ly makes the electronic relatable and allows the pop to be introspective and imperfect. A safe space is created, where you as an audience are met how you feel, and all emotions are celebrated and released through the music. You go home with a feeling that there is strength to be found in vulnerability.

Casper Hejlesen is an up-and-coming and award-winning guitarist and composer who, despite his young age, has managed to create an original sound as an instrumentalist as well as a composer. The sound is playful, energetic and full of curiosity, but at the same time contains a great respect for minimalism and the space that embraces the music.

Puyain Sanati is a Danish-Iranian, Copenhagen-based composer and sound artist. Hailing from a background in more dance-oriented club music he now also works within the field of electroacoustic and abstract music. Influenced by his Iranian background, he has been delving into his artistic research making a kind of Iranian electronic music. Sanati utilises a range of technical approaches, including experiments with electronic processing and acoustic sources, side by side and together.

Medea is the result of an unjust system. Taking inspiration from the tragedy of the same name, Medea channels resentment, grief and the feminine urge to take revenge when you’ve been pushed to desperation nearing violence by a society that demands the impossible. She embodies a love that tears you to pieces, and beneath her hard, cynical armour, she keeps a softness that almost destroys her. Medea is the ocean disguised as a woman and ranges from quiet, lonely tears to raging, destructive tsunamis.

A duality is opposites that meet, and a kind of doubleness occurs. In the combination with cello and electronics, and the acoustic and electronic expressions meet each other, a kind of duo arises. There is a contrast, at the same time as a dialogue. Which sound already exists in the body of the cello, and which sound is created by external manipulation? And is there a constant balance, or does it switch between dialogue and monologue?

Albert Aagaard Hertz has worked with minimalism and guitar-based songwriting as means to return to a bodily way of composing and performing music. He has investigated the movements in creation and listening where the material folds; delivers itself bluntly whilst simultaneously hiding, and thus creating a pre-reflexive wonder. This folding can show itself in numerous ways; in the poeticization of repetition, in empty space, aesthetic juxtapositions or in a pop song barely audible through combatant noise. This seemingly wrinkled piece of paper is reminiscent of guitar-driven shoegaze, indierock and artpop.

'CONCENTRIC CYCLES' is a personal artistic reflection of a 2 year growing process, in which I investigated artistic perspectives & the aesthetic potential around the context of circular rhythmic & ambient electronic music, as well as sequence based improvisation. Through the process of merging rhythmic and melodic components in a modular electronic set up, the sonic structures are occurring in morphing meditative patterns, which appear in a constant flow and are full of possibilities in transformation. The musical creation is influenced by the cyclic cosmology & spirituality from various cultures around the world & draws performative elements from classical Indian music.

Exploring unconventional ways of being inventive with strings, this concert is a demonstration of ideas for circumventing the user-defined qualities of the guitar. Homebuilt instruments, circuit bent effect pedals, prosthetic fingers, counterintuitive techniques and several hands on one fretboard are among the methods of this exploration.

ELINBORG, an artist born and raised in the idyllic town of Gøta in the Faroe Islands, has since a young age cultivated music and songwriting with a passion that reflects her close connection to nature and the surroundings around her. Her musical expression is described as "dark electropop".

In this project, the protagonist takes on many faces, as it becomes an observer of the spectacle and drama of everyday life. Through the grayness of reality, the songs search for an underlying extravaganza in the mundane living. The result is a somewhat intimate and twisted universe, in which reality and dreaming merge. Themes to be discovered in this journey are feelings of loneliness, of time slipping too fast, and of love and surrendering.

Under the artist name Debbie Sings, she's previously worked with a diverse array of references to different genres in order to create her own foot-stompin', heart-pumpin' style of energetic and boundary-seeking pop music. Now she'll do her best to walk the line between old-school and futuristic sounds with country music as the framework for her concert. Embark on a both sonic and visual journey when she'll bring along her favorite country musicians to create an entertaining experience using the serene beauty of the countryside and a lot of other stuff from our galaxy.

'The Garden Of Earthly Delights' is a painting by the Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch (ca. 1450-1516) which covers the theme of humanity's need to realize its desires and its fantasies, ultimately leading to its own destruction. Paradoxically enough, the painting also presents itself as an ode to fantasy and creativity, and to this day is still viewed as a timeless classic still with futuristic qualities. This begs the question: Should we examine the truths which are contained inside our fantasies as opposed to realizing our fantasies into the real world? And is that what art is really about?

pixel.daddy works in the gap between the synthetic and the authentic. With found footage video, pixel creates video and sound collages over techno/dance inspired beats. This performance will go from CPH Dox to Culture Box in its weaving in and out of club music and documentary film.

This project is an attempt to ‘’sew together’’ the different working methods he has experimented with by the use of electronics and acoustic instruments - creating music that is aimed to be inclusive for various audiences. In this orchestral production, I merge prerecorded and produced spatial sounds with live instrumentation. From the percussive melodies of modular synths to the rich resonance of strings, the vibrant rhythms of drums, and the profound depth of bass, each element intertwines to weave an immersive sonic tapestry that surrounds you with sound from all directions.

Friends With Bene has finally got friends. In fact, as many as 8, who together with Bene will convey the songs she has written. It's going to look grandiose but cute, some might say romantic.

Bene has spent the last six months writing and arranging for a 9-person band, and at the same time also focused on writing lyrics in an attempt to learn more about himself. The music you're about to hear lives in a sensitive and upbeat indie world, drawing inspiration from everything from Andy Shauf and Big Thief to Taylor Swift and Troye Sivan.

Simon Plancke is a Belgian musician who has been fortunate enough to work a lot with the dance department of Den Danske Scenekunstskole during his bachelor at RMC. In this performance, he explored together with four dancers how to create a performance together from scratch where everyone has an influence on the outcome based on the agreed upon concepts and themes.

Eir draws a light veil of bright pink neon over his digital melancholy. Synths and sampled beats lay the foundation for the core of the music - a soprano voice that alternates between finely tuned and powerful, always with the greatest possible presence. With roots in the Nordic DIY scene, the heart of Swedish pop wonder, and newer influences of contemporary experimentation, how catchy and naive elements can also leave room for thought.

At the core of this project by Rebecca Molina, lies an exploration of using the SPD sampler as a bodily compositional tool. Hand-played samples take center stage, which includes elements of guitar samples, white noise, airy flutes, gritty distortion, and mechanical acoustic drums. Each element is woven together to create a lively soundscape of textures and contrasts, where the samples stand out on their own terms and expression.

I would like to present a selection of songs written from collective improvisations. In my bachelor's project, I worked with improvisation in a pop context. Together with talented musicians, we have improvised based on different leg spans and written pop songs together.

This concert will exhibit her exploration of both English and Icelandic in search of how linguistic identity affects her music. Using a language with less than 400.000 speakers has its limitations in relation to an international audience. Though Iceland is a unique place with tall mountains, active volcanoes, and beautiful souls - singing in Icelandic is both a challenge and a gift, and very near to K.óla’s heart.

This is a little music. A series of small movements that repeat and through the repetition take shape anew. Starting from small and simple compositions, a carpet is woven, impermanent and changeable. This is fragile music, it wants to present and tell about the sonorous core of the instruments. The ensemble in this small chamber work consists of instruments that are most often heard in old music, the work tries to create a chamber where what was, what is and what will be exist at the same time.

Dette er en lille musik. En serie af små bevægelser der gentager sig og gennem gentagelsen former sig på ny. Med afsæt i små og simple kompositioner væves et tæppe, forgængeligt og foranderligt. Dette er en skrøbelig musik, den ønsker at præsentere og fortælle om instrumenternes klanglige kerne. Ensemblet i dette lille kammerværk består af instrumenter der oftest høres i en gammel musik, værket forsøger at skabe et kammer hvor det der var, det der er og det der bliver, eksistere i samme tid.

In his electronic compositions, Kristoffer Rønnow explores a playful and experimental form of dance music that exudes a quirky lightness and longing tension. This musical exploration is deeply marked by a long course of illness with ME, where silence has become an integral part of both the compositions and the creative process.
