What happens when the moon steals the sun’s light, casting everything into shadow? This KID concert tells a moving story without words – a tale of meeting and parting, loneliness and longing, light and darkness. Together with the musicians of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Dries De Win brings an enchanting visual narrative to life on the stage of the Queen Elisabeth Hall, accompanied by symphonic gems from Haydn, Verdi, and others.

Randers Chamber Orchestra marks with this concert the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Danish composer Axel Borup-Jørgensen. Borup-Jørgensen had a strong and distinctive voice in Danish music life. He created music that was modern and on the edge of time, but which was also inspired by nature, and which creates a diversity of inner images on the retina of the listener.

Women's voices are in demand in the 3rd decade of the 21st century. More than ever. This also applies in the concert hall, and on March 8, on women's day of struggle, the Odense Symphony Orchestra will let women speak in many different ways - both in the music and in a subsequent panel debate on the topic.

Frederiksberg Town Hall and Copenhagen Phil present a unique classical concert experience with  the Open Orchestra - and take both young and old listeners on an interactive symphonic journey through classical music. This happens when the audience walks around in the middle of the live music, but it is playing, and in that way gets very close to the orchestra's musicians, who are spread out throughout the room.

It will take place on 10 October 2023 in the beautiful hall at Frederiksberg Town Hall. An unforgettable musical experience, where the Academy of Music's talented students get a unique opportunity to participate on stage side by side with the large symphony orchestra. Silja Okking is the host and guides both young and old safely through and into the wonderful world of classical music.
