What was it really like with that fairy tale about Hansel and Gretel? We've all heard about the two children who are exposed in the forest and end up in the house of the terrible witch. And since the witch is a witch, she is the most evil thing you can imagine. Her only thought when she meets two small children is that they will end up on the dinner table, boiled or fried! That's what we've heard... (For children 4-10 years old)
But what is really going on with this witch? Who is she? Who has singled her out as a witch? Are there witches?

One late evening at the small library, the librarian tells a completely different tale about Hansel and Gretel. Now it is the “witch’s” version that we hear.
