When a lusty aristocrat tries to seduce his valet’s pretty young fiancée, his servants and long-suffering wife conspire to teach him a lesson in fidelity.

The Marriage of Figaro

Glyndebourne

Praised by Mozart and beloved across Europe, André Grétry’s sparkling yet poignant opera was inspired by the charming tale of Beauty and the Beast. With its radiant score, lively drama and a joyful ending, Zemira e Azor is as touching as it is enchanting.
