A sonic performance that reinterprets the myth of the sea-woman (sirens and mermaids) from their own perspective, against the backdrop of a collapsing Baltic Sea marine climate. Body and choreography blend the wet and graceful with the awkward and brutal, while live-generated sound and Baltic Sea field recordings create harmonies.

Mine-Haha is a fictional memoir that traces Helene Engel's life from her earliest childhood to adolescence. Drawing on Wedekind's novel of the same name, the piece unfolds around the formation of a female body, emphasizing the relationship between gaze, body, and education. In an expository context, the body of the performer becomes the terrain for exploring the power relations between the viewer and the viewed, through the exploration of the role of the spectator.
