Join us at the Cleveland Museum of Art for an unforgettable evening with the internationally acclaimed ensemble, Sybarite5. This unique performance is scheduled for Friday, April 19, 2024, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Gartner Auditorium. Experience the luxurious sound and unexpected programming that have dazzled audiences worldwide, making Sybarite5 a sensation in the realm of chamber music.

Sybarite5, known for its hyper-accurate yet fiercely vivacious performances, is celebrated for its eclectic repertoire that spans from Radiohead to John Coltrane, and from Komitas to Astor Piazzolla. The ensemble, consisting of violinists Sami Merdinian and Suliman Tekalli, violist Caeli Smith, cellist Laura Andrade, and double bassist Louis Levitt, brings an intoxicating mix of passion, grit, and musical ecstasy to the stage. Their groundbreaking approach to music has led them to become the first ensemble of its kind to win the prestigious Concert Artists Guild annual competition.

The evening's program, "Collective Wisdom," is inspired by their acclaimed 2023 album and showcases music as a universal language, connecting diverse genres and composers in a dynamic and wide-ranging musical journey. Expect to be intrigued and hugely entertained by performances full of serial high points, as described by the Washington Post.

Frisson features the best and brightest of classical music's stars! The group showcases emerging young artists as well as seasoned professionals and has skyrocketed to become one of the leading musical groups. Frisson performs engaging programs for winds, piano trio and piano quartet programs, as well as popular programs featuring music by such composers as Gershwin and Piazzolla. The ensemble performs in over 25 cities annually including appearances in such diverse venues as the Morgan Library and Museum in New York City, for the Da Camera Society in Los Angeles and at the Bermuda Festival.
