This connection is notably embodied by the Orchestre Tremplin, which allows young musicians from the CRR to share the podium with the Orchestra's professionals. Each season, this partnership is also enriched by concerts given by the Orchestra's musicians in the Conservatoire Auditorium. These events offer a special moment of closeness with the public and fully participate in the musical life of the city, in a spirit of transmission, influence, and openness.

MPP214 Presents: From Café to Concert Hall: Songs of Les Six

Princeton University

Often seen as the French answer to Russia’s Mighty Handful, Les Six were a group of kindred spirits, united by their time at the Paris Conservatoire, where they exchanged ideas and forged lifelong bonds. Satie later brought them together under his Nouveaux Jeunes recitals, setting the stage for their individual genius to shine.

VOXBOX: The Masked Ball - a celebration of Les Six

Royal Birmingham Conservatoire

Alongside four virtuoso musicians, Julie Fuchs imagines a stroll through the vibrant Paris of the early 20th century : a world of cabarets, salons, and concert halls. With a contagious joy in sharing her passion, she creates a dialogue between eras, styles, words, and sounds. Driven by inventive arrangements blending piano, violin, double bass, and accordion, this program reveals all the whimsy, humor, and poetry of a rich repertoire. An ode to freedom, in a vibrant, nostalgic, and playful Paris.
