Project LA- a musical project founded by composer Levon Arevshatyan. Popular among the youth, Project LA has been modernizing classic poetry through music since 2018. Arevshatyan composes songs based on classical poems by world-renowned American, Armenian, and English authors. The event is unique in that it will feature the works of poets in both English and Armenian, including poems by Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickenson, William Henley, Lord Byron, Vahan Teryan, Yeghishe Charents, Hamo Sahyan, and Paruyr Sevak. The songs composed by Arevshatyan will be performed by Armenian rock singer and songwriter Gor Sujyan, who represented Armenia in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with his band the “Dorians.”
