A missing father, a pill-popping mother and three sisters harboring dubious little secrets. When the large Weston family unexpectedly reunites after Dad disappears, their Oklahoma family homestead explodes in a maelstrom of repressed truths and unsettling mysteries. Mix in Violet, the drugged-up, scathingly acidic matriarch, and you’ve got a major play that unflinchingly—and uproariously—exposes the dark side of the Midwestern American family.

On Sunday 24 August prepare to be swept away by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, as they take you on a journey through the most memorable, thrilling, and poignant silver screen soundtracks of all time. Culminating in a magnificent fireworks finale, and all set against a wonderful summer’s evening in Battersea Park. 

Prepare to be astonished by the spectacular work of John Williams, Hans Zimmer, John Barry and more, retold by the 60-piece concert orchestra, performing soundtrack selections from movies such as Star Wars, Pretty Woman, James Bond, Love Actually, Inception, Ghostbusters, Wicked, How To Train Your Dragon and Pirates Of The Caribbean. The evening will be conducted by musical maestro Pete Harrison, with special guest singers to be announced.
