Join us for an unforgettable evening of piano mastery as the Schubert Club presents Leif Ove Andsnes, a Norwegian pianist celebrated for his magisterial elegance, power, and insight. This International Artist Series recital is set to take place on Friday, March 28, at 7:30 PM at the Ordway Music Theater, marking Andsnes' fourth appearance with the Schubert Club and his first since 2011.

The evening will showcase Andsnes' profound connection to the works of Edvard Grieg, starting with the composer’s only piano sonata. The program will also feature the complete 24 Preludes of Chopin, offering attendees a rare opportunity to experience these exploratory character pieces live. Each prelude, varying in length and contrasting in character, promises to take the audience on an emotional and musical journey through all the major and minor keys.
