**Event Description: Chamber String Ensemble at Bradfield Music Festival**

Join us for an enchanting evening of classical music as the Academy of St Martin in the Fields Chamber String Ensemble returns to the Bradfield Festival of Music. This year's performance will take place on Saturday, 1st July 2023, in Sheffield. The ensemble will perform as a string sextet, presenting an hour-long programme featuring masterpieces by Bach, Schubert, Borodin, and Brahms.

The Orchestra is joined by fabulous guest soloist Alissa Anderson as the ASO Chorus appears in concert for the first time in 2025. Alissa has been hailed as “deliciously over the top” for her commanding stage presence, and Opera News describes the voice as a “powerful mezzo.” Anderson wields her comic prowess, striking features, and her “powerful vocalism” to great acclaim.
