Following their sell-out tour in 2023, Wild Arts bring their fresh and innovative version of Handel’s Messiah to Sinfonia Smith Square for the first time.

The period specialist players of the Wild Arts Ensemble join the star singers of their summer opera tour for an enthralling version that will bring the music and story to life. The performance will include elements of improvised staging from a framework devised by theatre and opera director Tom Morris (Breaking the Waves, Dr Semmelweis, War Horse), with Wild Arts’ Artistic Director Orlando Jopling directing from the keyboard.

Wild Arts presents Mahler's stunning reflection on death, time, and transience – with three performances in spring and a potential world premiere recording project in the autumn.
