Chamber winds perform Dances of the French Renaissance, Gervaise and Attaingnant/arr. Peter Reeve; Serenade in D minor, Op. 44, Antonin Dvořák; and will give the première performance of Justin Monroe's Blueprints for a City in the Sky. Monroe is pursuing the Master of Music in composition.

The Wind Symphony plays host to the 2026 North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference, featuring winners of the NASA concerto competition. An all-star cast of soloists includes Michael Rene Torres, Ohio State University, Sarah Hatrick, University of Arkansas, Otis Murphy, Indiana University, and the Assembly Quartet.  The program includes works by Karel Husa, David Maslanka, Alexandra Gardner, and a world premiere by Katajh Copley.

Wind Symphony

The Wind Symphony welcomes world-renowned composer, David Amram, for the premiere performance of the band version of his orchestra work This Land: Symphonic Variations on a Song by Woody Guthrie. DMA Wind Conducting student Shawn Davern will conduct the Wind Symphony on this transcription, completed by Davern in collaboration with the composer. The program also includes William Schuman’s New England Triptych and Sousa's The Liberty Bell March.
