The Ohio State University School of Music

The Ohio State University School of Music is one of the largest universities in the world, Ohio State offers a wealth of resources on its beautiful Columbus campus. In the midst of this educational community, the School of Music is part of the College of Arts and Sciences, the academic heart of Ohio State. We recognize the relationship that binds music to other academic and artistic disciplines and provides students with a comprehensive education, preparing them for careers in composition, performance, scholarship and teaching. Our faculty of recognized performing artists, composers, scholars and master teachers are specialists in their fields and serve a student body of approximately 300 undergraduate and 100 graduate music majors, as well as hundreds of non-music majors who are pursuing music minors, taking classes or participating in one of the many performance ensembles.
