Among the winter months, February is the brightest, providing sure signs that warmth and light are returning.

450 years ago, in the summer of 1576, the great Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe began construction of Uranienborg – his groundbreaking laboratory and astronomical observatory on the island of Hven. It marked the beginning of a Danish fascination with the sky and the stars that continues to this day.
