450 years ago, in the summer of 1576, the great Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe began construction of Uranienborg – his groundbreaking laboratory and astronomical observatory on the island of Hven. It marked the beginning of a Danish fascination with the sky and the stars that continues to this day.
