Following the phenomenal success of The Incredible Story of the Giant Pear, we are proud to invite children and adults alike to yet another Strid adventure as The Fantastic Bus takes over the Main Stage at the Royal Danish Playhouse.

Life in Ahnstarr City is not easy for Taku, Spir, and their friends. Their small wooden houses by the harbour are being torn down, and little Timo is seriously ill. Only the rare saffron lily, which grows in the dreamland of Balanka, can cure him. When two old Phantom-8 jet engines from a failed expedition 25 years ago are rediscovered, and a plasma generator is brought back to life, Spir has an idea: let’s build a bus and travel to Balanka!

She is only in her 30s and lives life in the city. Sweet boyfriend, lovely apartment, newborn baby. It all works. But it is turned upside down when her boyfriend tells her that he has got a job as a teacher at a high school in Velling! A small spot on the west coast of Jutland, where the grass stands horizontally in the wind, and where sentences are few and short. How is she supposed to function in that society, with her great love of words? Because what do people from West Jutland actually think about in the pauses between their sentences? And how does she avoid filling the silence with gibberish?

She is a city girl, in her early 30s with a sweet boyfriend, a lovely apartment and a newborn baby. It all plays out. But it is turned upside down when her boyfriend Rasmus tells her that he has got a job as a teacher at a high school in Velling! A small place on the west coast of Jutland, where the grass stands horizontally in the wind, and where sentences are few and short. How is she, who loves words, supposed to function in that society? In the performance, everyone is invited to a condensed musical high school stay in Velling. We meet the Velling residents, the wild hotel owner Krisser, the patient driving instructor, parking Peter and many others.

A group of strangers are snowed in at the remote Monkswell Manor boarding house. Here they hear on the radio about a murder committed nearby, and when they are visited by a skiing police commissioner, it is clear that the murderer is most likely among them. When another murder takes place, the tension rises and fear sets in. For who is the murderer? Everyone is under suspicion - and everyone is potentially the next victim!
