Three of Denmark's most prominent young musicians – violinist Anna Agafia Egholm , cellist Jonathan Swensen and pianist Gustav Piekut – unite their international experience and deep artistic commitment in the newly founded ensemble, Trio Theros.

Here is the opportunity to experience the pure, symphonic sound of John Williams' soundtracks as you have never heard them before. The DR Symphony Orchestra and host Jakob Stegelmann invite you to an entire evening full of Williams' masterful soundscapes together with two strong soloists, the young violin star Anna Agafia Egholm and the singer Christine Nonbo, who is known and loved by the orchestra's film music fans all over the world.

Dream back to the magic of childhood with the tunes from ET, experience heroic adventures with Indiana Jones, feel the excitement of a galaxy far, far away with music from Star Wars, fly to Dream Island with Captain Hook and be moved by the heartbreaking music from Schindler's List.

The evening also offers tunes from, among others, Seven Years in Tibet, the sci-fi film AI Artificial Intelligence and the patriotic drama Born on the Fourth of July.

As a violinist, Anna has already participated in DR's TV competitions for children's soloists as a child. Anna studied her bachelor's degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Alexandre Zapolski and then went to Lausanne in Switzerland, where she attended a soloist master's degree. From September 2019, she will be attending the soloist class with Professor Tim Frederiksen.
