Olivier Fortin and the Ensemble Masques invite you to a unique experience with L'Échappée, a mobile stage unlike any other: a semi-trailer entirely transformed into a real performance hall.!

In June 2025, this traveling theater will travel through the city's neighborhoods to meet all audiences.

A long time ago, in Sicily... Galatea was a sea nymph, a Nereid, who lived on the island inhabited by the Cyclops Polyphemus, son of Poseidon, who was deeply in love with her. But Galatea loved the young shepherd Acis, son of Pan. The jealous Cyclops Polyphemus crushes Acis under a rock. Fortunately, sea nymphs have special powers and Acis is granted immortality, transformed by Galatea into a gushing fountain.

The Ensemble Masques, led by harpsichordist Olivier Fortin, opens this season's harpsichord focus with 18th-century French chamber music. The program includes several solo harpsichord concertos by Baroque master Jean-Philippe Rameau and his contemporaries.
