The Trio of three brothers, known for mesmerising audiences with their oud playing, celebrate this occasion with a special concert featuring a string quartet and percussion, performing the best of their music compositions and the voice of Mahmoud Darwish and his poetry. This project premiered at Philharmonie de Paris, where the Trio received the Order of Arts and Letters from the French ministry of culture in recognition of their cultural engagement.

France’s Quatuor Van Kuijk is one of the world’s fastest-rising string quartets. In their Carnegie Hall debut, they perform Beethoven’s favorite string quartet: Op. 131. Brimming with confidence and innovations both formal and technical, this astonishingly original late work represents a high point of the art form. Another quintessential string quartet follows, as the ensemble showcases why their ongoing Felix Mendelssohn survey was included in Gramophone’s Best Classical Music Albums of 2022. Between these formidable quartets, they perform several of Fauré’s wonderful mélodies.
