The year is 1868. The latest newspaper reports tell of the mysterious disappearance of ships on the high seas! Where have the ships gone? Young explorers Nadine and Pierre have many theories about what could be behind it: Is there a monster in the sea? Is this monster eating the ships? Who has seen the monster? A giant prehistoric octopus, a whirlpool?

Having just returned from a long honeymoon, Jörgen Tesman and Hedda, née Gabler, move into their new house. It is Hedda's dream house, for which Tesman has gone into debt, believing that he will soon become a professor. Everything could actually be so wonderful. But neither of them is made for this marriage. Hedda longs for more influence and adventure, while Tesman's greatest passion is his work and he wants to meet all of society's demands. Then Hedda's former lover Lövborg turns up. He has used her absence to write a groundbreaking work with the help of another woman. Now he is also being considered as a possible candidate for the professorship. Hedda's life plan is slipping through her fingers. Within 24 hours she succeeds in bringing the bourgeois world around her to collapse.

Reality check: Who are Schiller's robbers? Are there still marauding gangs among us today, living in forests and lying in wait to rob and even murder? No! We have our police, after all... Yes! But they've just moved their hiding places. Perhaps the club is their new nighttime hideout. By day, they chain themselves to trees and fences in all kinds of weather. They stick themselves to the streets while airing their grievances on social media.

What does it mean for a child when their mother or father suffers from a mental illness?

In sensitively told stories, David Stöhr and the ensemble convey to children and children of mentally ill parents that they are not alone in their situation – and that everything they feel and think is okay. They also show, however, where the limits of children's agency lie, and how beneficial it can be for both children and parents to seek help.
