Pianist

On the occasion of the opening of the Royal Juillet Musical de Saint-Hubert, the OPRL brings with it César Franck's impious knight, a cursed hunter who is one of the darkest heroes of Romanticism. Under the direction of Pierre Bleuse, the Orchestra will also perform the famous "New World" Symphony , with its famous English horn solo, and Richard Strauss's Burlesque (for piano), joined by the faithful Florian Noack who will take on this diabolical concerto movement, marked by the influence of Liszt and Brahms.

The OPRL travels to Reims to participate in the Flâneries Musicales, a festival founded in 1990, renowned for its rich and eclectic programming. Under the direction of Pierre Bleuse, the Orchestra will perform the celebrated "New World" Symphony , a score that skillfully blends Czech music with melodies inspired by Native American musical folklore. Joined by Florian Noack, the OPRL will tackle Richard Strauss's Burlesque , a technically formidable concerto movement influenced by Liszt and Brahms.

Florian Noack (born 1990) is a Belgian pianist renowned for his virtuosity, innovative programming, and championing of rare romantic and post-romantic repertoire. He began piano studies at age 4 and by 12 joined the Queen Elisabeth Chapel’s program for exceptional young talents. Noack has won numerous prestigious awards, including the ECHO Klassik for Young Artist of the Year, Diapason d’Or of the Year, Octave de la Musique for Artist of the Year, and prizes at the Rachmaninoff, Robert Schumann, and Cologne international piano competitions.

Imagine a map of the world, turned upside down. When such a world is your point of reference, the terms ‘obscure’ and ‘well-known’ do not necessarily apply. Much in the same way, Florian Noack (1990, Belgium) discovered the world of repertoire for piano. Even as a teen, composers like Alkan, Medtner, Lyapunov were studied next to Chopin and Beethoven, thanks to the highly inspirational book Piano Music by Guy Sacre.
