Trumpeter Erik Palmenäs will be giving a graduation concert with his newly formed decette. Classics by Gillespie, Walton and Shorter are promised.

In his thesis, Erik has studied and analyzed the trumpet playing of bebop icon Dizzy Gillespie. To pay tribute to him, Erik has put together a decette and written arrangements inspired by Gillespie's big band. They will perform some of Gillespie's compositions as well as other gems by, among others, Wayne Shorter and Cedar Walton.
