Cornettist and trumpeter Tobias Wiklund presents his new project "Inner Flight Music" – a visionary musical adventure that takes the listener through the worlds of jazz and improvisation on a journey toward spiritual deepening.

Inner Flight Music

Tilde Schweitzer, named Jazz Musician of the Year and Rising Star 2024, is one of Sweden's youngest and most distinguished big band leaders and arrangers. Her newly formed big band reinterprets the popular music of the last century through Tilde's newly devised format and arrangements.

Premiere of the autumn club night: featuring drums, saxophone and vocals blended with influences from hip-hop, pop, psychedelica and jazz. The club night also presents two DJs: DJ Kristoffer Petterson (jazz with a connection to Umeå) and DJ Kicki Mannberg (LOOK BACK HIP HOP).

The band OPEN HERE! consists of three strong personalities who together form a leading force in contemporary improvised music from Sweden. The trio's acoustic and electronic soundworld is based both on improvisations and on interpretations of their own and others' compositions.

Tonight's two concerts feature two established and well-known groups for the jazz club's audience. PM Fourtet moves in an open, melodic and rhythmic style in which Per Mannberg's compositions are allowed to grow through the interplay between the group's members. Staffan Öberg's Nonet pays tribute to jazz heroes Miles Davis and John Coltrane this evening.
