It is the orchestra's last concert before the Christmas holidays, and as always, the Christmas spirit is being turned up a notch. To guide us through a string of lovely Christmas melodies, this year we have invited baritone Thomas Storm, who also produced the Aalborg Opera Festival last year.

With her deep knowledge of Nordic folk magic, Olga Ravn works to stage performances that reinterpret folk magic with inspiration from cultic ritual, the visual world of poetry and the concentration of performance art. It is this dialogue that now moves into the concert hall with a performance developed especially for the Copenhagen Phil.

With her role in the TV series Badehotellet, she has gradually become the epitome of Danish summer, and now Amalie Dollerup forms the vocal front when we traditionally celebrate the arrival of midsummer. We know her as an actress in a number of TV, film and theatre roles, but Amalie Dollerup is also an experienced singer, who in addition to a number of concerts has participated in several musical performances.
