What would a painting sound like if it were music? The Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky tried it out and the result was his famous "Pictures at an Exhibition". On a bustling market, vendors quarrel, a limping gnome sneaks by, chirping chicks hatch from their eggshells and dance a ballet. Together with the orchestra and Malte Arkona, we also encounter the evil witch Baba Yaga, meet children playing in the park, visit an old castle, and walk through the Great Gate of Kiev. Can't imagine it? Then come with your class to the Kulturpalast for the school concert!

He wrote magnificent works, the French composer Georges Bizet! But where did he get all his ideas from? Sometimes it sounds Spanish, sometimes Italian, or even Oriental. Or, quite obviously, like something from the children's room next door? Pia sets out to find out, because his music was a bit unfamiliar to people back then. Pia seeks answers to all these questions and has to solve a few puzzles along the way. But one thing is clear: Bizet's "Carmen" music is still a real hit today...
