Just one hour of music – yet a concert brimming with energy and musical variety. That’s what this one-off after-work concert has to offer. Fredrik Burstedt conducts the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, and we meet the young cellist Hugo Svedberg as soloist – winner of the prestigious Polstjärnepriset in 2024. After Work with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra

For three intensive days, five of the Nordic countries’ most promising young conductors have worked with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, side by side with the internationally acclaimed conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste. Now they meet the audience in a concert that reflects both the future and tradition, with music by Stravinsky, Saint-Saëns and Sibelius. The concert also features the young cellist Hugo Svedberg, who has already made a name for himself both in Sweden and internationally.
