The famous Adagio from Mozart's C major Concerto touches with its timeless beauty and inner peace. The Nutcracker Suite evokes childhood and Christmas, Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel bridges the gap to the world of fairy tales, before the rousing potpourri from the musical Im weißen Rössl (The White Horse Inn) sets a cheerful mood. Susanne Hoch, with Leonhard Kreutzmann conducting the program with heart and sensitivity.
