Hailing from Adelaide, Alana Brook is Assistant Director of Music at Wakefield Cathedral. Her first recital in Huddersfield Town Hall includes a selection of chorale preludes by women composers. Mendelssohn’s stately Sonata No. 2 is at the heart of the programme, with Vierne’s joyous Final at the close.
