You'll get to explore drawing in a variety of media, including graphite and oil pastel to generate a range of responses to the gallery artworks. Techniques will include using tone and line to depict form, volume and the effects of light; exploring composition in terms of balance, emphasis and symmetry; and considering different forms of mark-making. There'll be opportunities to discuss and apply narrative and thematic concerns within your drawing...
