Songfest is a Christmas-themed singing and dancing competition between the fraternities and sororities at Southern Miss, and the money raised goes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Epsilon Delta chapter of Chi Omega started the competition in 1951 as an annual fundraiser, and it is still the group's largest philanthropy event.
